Web development frameworks help us build highly functional applications very quickly, and are increasingly seen as a must for any new project. Python-based Django is hailed by the creators as “the Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines".
I haven't used Python as yet, neither got my hands on Django but the tagline has caught my interest. there are several scientific sites in Django i guess, most notably for me being the PRIDE public proteomics repository at the EBI.
